Hi friend

You can use the files *.grd and *.grc with aircom format.
The files *.grd and *.grc is "PLANET format" and you can import to aircom.
Can use the utility Import -->Planet in Aircom Enterprise v6.1

I see a small misunderstanding here .. let me correct you:

The files *.grd and *.grc are "Mentum Planet OUTPUT format" which can be imported to Aircom.

regarding Planet format.. nice memories from the past :loveliness:
So called "MSI PLANET" format comes from the company MSI and does not have anything in common with GRD/GRC extensions..
use Googling tags : Planet format, Index.txt, little endian, big endian, Intel, Sparc, ..
Very nice tool, later renamed to Tornado... and YES, you are right ..today it is called MENTUM PLANET ;)

ps:
even well known Kathrein's ASCII antenna pattern file format was designed for use with MSI Planet RF tool.. that's why it has extension *.msi

dear experts

i got examples map files from this forum, it's jersey map. i have successfully loaded the map. everything is working fine (clutter, height, vector, ortho)

when i try to load another map for another area (eg: java island-indonesia)
none of the map (clutter, height, vector, ortho) can be loaded .

1st question?
in jersey map, i see the height file format is *.hgt
then i use any *.hgt file and create the index file manually. but it not working?

2nd question?
i have the vector file for eg: java island in mapinfo format (*.tab, *.id, *.map, *.dat).
then i've successfully create the index.xml using GenerateIndexXML tools. when i've loaded the project from the message log everything is ok, but when i've tried to generate the vector in map, there's nothing come up:(

i believe i've set the projection correctly, since i've tried both of the UTM and Geograpic

can any one help me plz?

thanks
