Crannog NetWatch v1.6.0 | 35.1 mb

NetWatch™is a web-based, simple-to-use, management tool that offers completevisibility of the health and status of network devices in a format thatcan be tailored for all levels of technical competence. Its uniquepresentation style means that for the first time ever, business usersof IT can view network operations or bandwidth usage and ensure thatvaluable network resources are allocated on a business basis, ratherthan pre-determined by the IT department. This function in turn freesup busy IT staff to focus on their own jobs without having to set asidetime for technical 'interpretation’ in business meetings.

Netwatch™’sunique ‘user-centric’ interface defines a new functional level ofnetwork management and provides a web based portal view of networkresources. The high-end presentation element of the product allows fora wider audience to view and appreciate the health and parameters thatthe network is working under. Instead of providingtechnically-orientated graphs and charts, Netwatch puts the informationinto a useable format, so that network decisions can be made on apolitical or business basis, rather than be determined by a technicalmanagement that may not have the necessary business perspective.

Product Benefits:

1.Total LAN and WAN Management - often replacing or working inconjunction with traditional Element Managers such as CiscoWorks,Optivity or 3Com Transcend.
2. Completely Web-based – providing allauthorised network users with access to the information that isrelevant to them. The system administrator can implement variableaccess policies through individual Login IDs and passwords.
3.Simple and Intuitive Graphical Format – which converts complex datainto a clear view of the network. For example, the colour of each nodeis dependent on the number of network events.
4. BandwidthUtilisation Monitor – displays network usage patterns in real-timeacross all wide area links and LAN Uplink or server connections. Thecolour and width of each link is dependent on the percentage use ofbandwidth.
5. Cost-effective Solution – unlike many other networkmanagement solutions, Netwatch™ does not require expensive hardware andis fully interoperable with all SNMP-based Network Management tools. Inaddition, capacity planning can be streamlined through its reportingfeature, helping to reduce overall. telecommunications costs.
6. Speedy Installation Process – Netwatch™ can be installed in as little as 20 minutes.
7.Automatic Generation of Alerts - through SMS, E-mail and the launchingof additional user-defined programs in case of network downtime ordegradation of performance.
8. Customisation of Screenshots - withthe users own branding and preferred design can easily be created.Netwatch supports all of the main graphic file types including JPGs& GIFs.

Additional Features

* Archived Bandwidth Graphing - view high detail data from past days.
* Improved utilisation graphing with peak utilisation, auto-scaling and other options.
* Customisable context menus in NetWatch Map views.
