Yes, the dump is cfgmml - it's mml format (txt). I don't know of any tool to decode that apart from in-house made tools.

Just run the MML command in RNC : EXP CFGMML . can be done in RNC or M2000. The log is in RNC BAM, use FTP server to access.

Dears,

Just search for the tool MMLs2MDB_v1.18 in FineTopix, a very interesting tool to view RNC dump. I did not test the full functionality of this tool, but definitely it will help you in your work.

Regards,
:)

For GSM BSC6900 , just used MML2MDB 1.18 (already exist in this forum) , but not all parameter extracted .

better use latest huawei gsm nastar version to read all parameter in GSM BSC6900

But for BSC6000 , you just backup the dump and read via offline backup

Hi,

In Huawei you can dump both RNC and BSC tables, with ALL parameters.
The best option is to create a daily Task (in M2000), for the MML command:
EXP CFGBCP > 'CFGBCPSCRIPT.ZIP'

Then, you get this file for all BSC/RNC using ftp (like filezilla).

You can dump all this raw files into a standard folder, and later you can process this.

This link shows a step by step of this actions:
telecomHall - Hunter Parameters (Schema) (http://www.telecomhall.com/hunter-parameters-schema.aspx)

One big advantage in this is: you customize your base tables for BSC/RNC, and can do a lot of actions, like Audits.

Another is, it can be easily adjusted for E*******, NSN, etc. Once you have a base Access Database you can do a lot of other actions, like sending audit reports via e-mail.

And all this using only MS Access/VBA, with small code.

I hope you like.
