In what trace you see this cause?
Maybe you see who originates it, MSC or BSC? If MSC, are both subscribers belong to your network?
To solve this kind of drops you must understand where "network is out of order", you must check it step by step:
1) Who originates it?
2) After that check both sides: if it's call from MSC A to MSC B and originated by MSC A, check MSC A-MSC B connection stats and BSC-MSC A stats and alarms.
3) Check how many calls are dropped with this cause originated by the same MSC/BSC and what for those calls are similar (phones, CICs, LTG, HO etc).

would be interesting to see real cause of these ones. we saw them in our network, not many though.

Our theory is that calls are established and then are redirected, just like when you call any switchboard of any company and you are transfered to another phone. And then the call is dropped, due to any problem in the switchboard. As per this theory, it would not be a problem it can be dealt from the operator and there are no so many so we have not pursued further.
