Do you know the difference between Huawei BTS (3012, 3900)?

BTS3012 is old type of GSM BTS. It is not produced now.
BTS3900 is the new type of BTS. It can be GSM, WCDMA, WiMAX, CDMA or MBTS. This depends from boards in BBU and RRU/RFU modules.

The new BTS&DBS3900 is SDR platform (software defined radios) and supports e1/t1 and Ethernet transmission to BSC/RNC.

Dears,

Do you know the difference between Huawei BTS (3012, 3900)?

The main difference for BTS3900 is in DRFU Module

This DRFU can contain Combiner and TRX module in one module (DRFU)

For BTS3012 , combiner and TRX module is separated , DDPU for combiner , TRU for TRX Module

So BTS3900 can get more power output , because there is loss between Combiner and TRX module
