I have a project here in Southeast Asia, to implement E******* Multiband Cell. The project is to increase capacity by using both 1800 band and 900 band. Since 900 band has bigger coverage, so we decided to place it in outer layer, while 1800 in inner layer. In conclusion 1800 is more to capacity while 900 is for coverage.
My question here is what is the step by step procedure to implement this in E******* Equipment? I mean what parameters are involved and is there any special attention we need to look into? Thanks.

First of all...r u using dual bcch and single....in the multiband singla bcch is good that can reduce loading time .....i mean 900 bcch will be used for 1800...

1. U have to define layer...900
2.set a thashold to move MS to 1800 after calling or receiving a call...
3.put more capacity in the 1800 and less in 900 to avoid inteference.
4. use 1/1 syn hopping for 1800.
5.u have to define lol...125 for PL.
6. use x multiband antennas
Not that much hard to impelmemt 1800 over 900.

This may help you to understand some benefits. you can download some more stuff from their site Triangulum Optimum Networks (http://www.triangulum-telecom.com)

Thanks, this is very helpful. We have planned to use single BCCH, to get more TCH capacity.:p
