I was having some trouble PM-ing so I posted this thread, I am unable to log into some of the threads to reply for some reason, maybe someone can tell me what might have happened:confused: Keep getting "You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page."

Ok,
@ student21 and others if you need it

For those of you who maybe using Aircom Enterprise with 10g 10.2.0.1 database, ON A 32-bit Windows NT, XP, 2003 platform Oracle Patchset p5337014 is what you need.

This patchset can be downloaded from Oracle's Metalink website. the file is about 852 MB.

If you are unfamilar with installing CPU's or Patchset's for Oracle DB, DON"T PANIC!!! It is very simple in windows and linux, and even better it is documented Step-by-Step in the README file included in the patchset, and if you need further help, I would be happy to help you:).

This patch set will solve to upgrade your database to the version require for Asset (really You) to install that AIRCOM_Production_Autoextents_10G.dbt template you might already have, that configures your database for used by Asset.

Again this may help those who get an error that Your database is 10.2.0.1, please upgrade.... or something like that. After Upgrading your database you should..."will" be able to log into administer you database from within the Aircom Enterprise environment and configure a user name to log into Asset!

@Mojiiiii
Let me know were you would like to patchsets uploaded and I will upload it there. The patchset are NOT all the same! So please send me the OS version and DB versions so that I can get the right patchset to you:)

For WIN7, I would think you would need the 64bit version of the Oracle Database. However, you run into problems when you mix the DB versions and OS versions with Aircom Enterprise 6.2.

You see, Aircom can run 64bit, but its ODBC does not! It runs 32bit, why??? I have no Clue

So, I suggest running 32 bit of Oracle 10g 10.2.0.1 and upgrade it to 10.2.0.3

I have run Aircom Enterprise 6.2 on:
OS: WIN XP 64bit
DB: Oracle 10.2.0.3
(Aircom Enterprise 6.2 Commercial and the Disk of Aircom Ent 6.2 seem to me slightly different) but this could just be because I am running it on XP 64, maybe someone else can confirm this?

barcelona said to me that has not sufficient privileges to respond to this tread
He would say:

"I would like to say that Enterprise 7.0 is 32 bit platform.
It works on 64 bit OS and there is an extra licence that enables the Simulator to run on 64bit
if the HW and OS are 64 bit.
In addition Enterprise 6.2 without any patch is able to run on Oracle 10.2.0.2 but if you use one of the latest patch releases the Enterprise only works on 10.2.0.4 or 11g
Overhere you can download Oracle complete free:

agree with Zeuscane, for me it is recommended when you use ora11 with aircom7 and install them on a power PC, not a labtop.
