Nemo Outdoor 5.61 Released with Support for LTE Benchmarking

October 14, 2010. Nemo Outdoor 5.61 introduces support for the simultaneous use of multiple LG LTE USB modems on a standard laptop computer. This makes it possible to benchmark LTE networks also at an early stage or to load cells with multiple UEs simultaneously. Up to two LG LTE modems are supported at the moment and the dual-modem configuration has been verified using LG LTE G7 USB modems.
The high-quality scanning capabilities of the R&S TSMW scanning receiver have been developed further in Nemo Outdoor 5.61. The scanner now supports measurements in GSM, WCDMA, CDMA and EVDO networks in addition to LTE. What is more, the different technologies can be measured simultaneously, greatly enhancing the benchmarking possibilities of our customers.
The new release also introduces three new LG terminals for LTE measurements, namely G7, G13 and G17. Our extensive frequency scanner portfolio is further strengthened with three scanning receivers from PcTEL:
-PcTEL EX Single Mode Single-Band LTE E800 MHz
-PcTEL EX Single Mode Dual-Band LTE E800/2600 MHz
-PcTEL PCT-520 GSM 900/1800, WCDMA 2100 MHz scanner
Other added features include support for the Sierra Wireless 308 USB modem and for the E-UTRA band 20 (E800MHz).
