Hi all,

What is the difference between max range, smart range and standard range in E// RBS configuration. How can we determine if it is max range and smart range?

Smart Range is using in Overlaid/Underlaid subcells

Thanks for the doc.
Can I say that 4+4+4 Standard Range is 2+2+2 Max Range with TMA? So the increase in coverage compromises the capacity?
BTW, Do you have LB tool on how to compute standard range, max range and smart range MAPL?:D

in 2/2/2 uncombined mode a 3dB signal gain can be achieved..!! due to byepassing of hybrid combiner..!! use omt to check different possible config.!

Yes. But if you go with 4+4+4 you should be capacity limited not range... You will have lower Ec/Io ratio at the cell edge due to limit in amplifier power...
