Never use tems link planner,

But from what i read,
It has different advantages each,
Pathloss is a powerfull but simple tools for microwave planning,
It's easy 2 find the digital map for this pathlos,
We can use many kind utm format map,srtm which yu can free download this stuff from NASA website,or perhaps wanna use gtopo30 (not really reccomended this kind of terrain map),but only for 2D map,

Tems link planner just like ellipse and aircom connect,can shows 3D map,
Use for any detail MW planning,
But the problem is...
A fren said that yu have to buy this tlp terrain map due to it can't support maps which be used on pathlos,

Pls correct me if i wrong,

Btw is there any other lic for this tlp?

The sw need ask server name,
Have modified the license server but the sw can not contact the license server,

If anyone know how to solve the problem, pls kindly need yur help...

To get a standalone version (without server) you can try this license and put it as lservrc file into your c:\Program Files\TEMS Products\TEMS LinkPlanner\

1. Save the 'lservc' file on C:\Program Files\TEMS Products\TEMS LinkPlanner\License
2. Run 'LoadLicense.exe' and choose the lservc file. Wait till 'License loaded successfull'
3. Create the file 'TLP_Host.ini' that contain :

SERVER=xxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxx is the name of your computer. You could found it by right click on 'My Computer' icon.
4. Run your TLP
5. For first running, it will ask the server..... Just fill it by the name of your computer.
6. Enjoy your TLP.

Ok license is installed coz it showed me the message that LICENSE added. But still when i run TLP, it gives error that Could not contact to license server.....etc etc

Make sure no license server is available on your machine. Also make sure the lservrc file is in c:\Program Files\TEMS Products\TEMS LinkPlanner and your tlp_host.ini contains the right host name

I uninstalled everything and re-installed the software. As i m totally new to TLP so i think i m not doing installation properly. The software i downloaded from this website comes with number of setup files. Dongle Driver, GeoBox, License Server and Tems Link Planner. I only run the setup of Tems link Planner first. It was successfully installed. After that i tried running setup of License Server and it during its installation an error occured with the message "FILE MOVE ERROR".
Do u think thats why my TLP is not working as i could not install License Server properly?

During all your test's do not forget to check the file named lock.txt
It have consist something like this
