Hi guys,
I am anaysing HSDPA performance, and we get this data from stationary tests with Tems and we export information like, Hsdch Bler, cqi and etc, also we get dtx data as percentage. how does it effect the hsdpa performance. And how can I consider it with number of users.??
thanks for help.

From a UE point of view, DTX means it doesn't transmit anything on the UL HS-DPCH in terms of ACK or NACK. The reason it does this is because it wasn't scheduled anything in that TTI.

If you have a high percentage of DTX your throughput will suffer as you are not being sent any data.

If there are a lot of simultaneous users you will get a lot of DTX as the scheduler on the nodeB cannot serve everyone fast enough.

Hi friend,

How do you generate DTX from drive test logs? Thanks.
